![]() I pushed my pinkie through the material with minimal effort and said, "You need a lot more info on what you're trying to do." That applies here. I once was shown a piece of kevlar that someone at a mining site was planning to use for fragmentation protection. If you're talking about ballistic grades of kevlar, where are you going to get it? How much is it going to cost? How are you going to attach it without compromising the fabric? How many layers do you need? If you're talking about some random kevlar fabric you buy off the internet, that is unlikely to contribue anything whatsoever to protection. The possibilities are virtually endless and very few are for ballistics. what kind of kevlar? There are all kinds of kevlar varieties and weaves, including different aramid weights. I've nothing per se against Windows, it's just extremely refreshing and liberating to be able to choose and to be using a robust operating system that doesn't inevitably sh1t itself over time eventually requiring a rebuild.First, the correct term is indeed "splatter", because we're referring (presumably) to bullet fragments flying off the plate after impact. It's like it's finally been relegated to where it's always belonged). So long as there is no native mp3tag or an equivalent I'll always be running at least one app in Wine or in a VM (there's something very satisfying about treating windows just like any other application rather than having to deal with it as your OS. Whilst I've had the odd issue using Grip as a cdparanoia frontend, ripping via cdparanoia has always produced excellent results for me. ![]() I'm with you in that there is simply nothing that comes close to mp3tag, even in the windows world, I'm not as convinced re EAC though. I agree with this, EAC and Mp3tag are third-party applications and they could just as easily have been developed for Linux, but they weren't, and they really are best-in-class applications with no equivalents. ![]()
